I didn't write the words

I didn't write the words

Because you'd read them from my eyes.

They didn't remain untold,

You'd heard them in my sigh.

Lazy night of burning

My coat strewn across the floor

Your red heels graceful at the door

The wine on your lips as you lay in my arms,

It's a night of silence.

Your breath on my neck,

The buttons of my shirt lazily coming off.

The lights don't count.

Our eyes are fading into our dreams.

As we dance in our dreams,

Your arms snuggled round my shoulder.

We sleep with our clothes on,

But we're naked in reality.

Your careless hair draped on the pillow,

Your fingers entangled in mine.

I can hear your heartbeat,

As it plays my music tonight.

Before I dive into senseless satisfaction,

I let a whiff of your perfume fill my senses.

Now come what fears may,

I can fight them.

Kuch

Kuch Khayaal samet lein

Kayi raaste jaan lein.

Jo hamare kabhi na they,

Unhein aapki nazron se pehchan lein.

If only

The spark caught his heart,

froze cold his smiling start.

If only you had held the glance longer,

He would have melted......

At a distance

At a distance the sea

Makes timeless love to the sand.

And here, pointless life

Doesn't seem to slow down nor stand.

In between the strings

In between the Guitar strings,

I live a lifetime, everytime.

As the music plays, I come alive, always.

Good Morning

The sound of the sunlight,

Whispering as it fills the sky.

Wrapping its arms around the world

and letting you hear it's loving sigh.

Have you heard her smile

Have you heard her smile ?

Its the sound of butterflies on fragrant flowers,

rainbows on a million towers.

It’s a wonder, just to hear her smile.

Hear her smile.

She sounds of the Orchids sigh as spring swings by.

Of the moonlights kiss on the sullen sky.

Have you heard her smile ?

Does it ask ?

Does the morning ask the night if it can dawn,

Or does it burst onto the scene, shaking into life,

the slumber thats sleeping at ease ?

Does the evening need an invitation,

Or does it waltz onto the scene,

dressed in sultry finery,

making eyes shine with its teasing dreams ?

The Little Petrel

The little petrel danced with the waves,

and the waves danced with him.

Joyously tumbling with a strange grace,

as the moon peeked shyly in.

Subah 2

Subah mein woh sannaata mila,

Kisi raat mein dhoonda tha kabhi.

Subah

Kabhi dard aata hai, Kabhi neend.

Raat bhi muskurate huey chali gayi.

Kahin so sakein tau kya baat hogi.

Footprints

Footprints on the sand,

stumbling like drunk lovers.

I never saw them,

yet I know they fought & kissed under the desire of the moonlit wine.

Playful smile

She smiled slowly,

the light caught her hair.

Playfulness in her eyes,

dancing to music in her head.

She walked as if no one else was there.

She danced

She danced for her life.

They clapped away.

She danced till she died.

They clapped away.

Bliss

Silky waves reflect naughty eyes,

My raised eyebrow in bold moonlight.

A touch of a whisper,

will set us free tonight.

Mellow feet against the sand.

Your flying strands, in breezy hands.

A silent touch,

A blushing smile.

The unspoken kiss is so worthwhile.

Drunk Clouds

And drunk upon the clouds we soared.

we didnt care for no wine.

The clouds were drunk, the air was soaked.

We didnt even care for the time.

Thats where I live

The Corner of your lips when you smile like a silly mischevious child,

thats where I live.

Her eyes

She turned her eyes to look at me.

Brought forth a downright shiver.

No mere mortal am I,

but the scars on the moon, her eyes had burnt.

He

He believed in love.

They found his body in the clouds,

Cupid’s arrow piercing his heart.

She

She calmed the harsh summers with her glance.

Walking along, getting looks & invitations.

she didnt look at the sun but she belonged to him.

Morning

Morning has broken,

And now the world is awakened,

I shall let myself drift to sleep.

My demons will be afraid now that you are awake.

The Couple

They walk the roads, holding hands.

She on her Blackberry, he kicking empty Coke cans.

Their echoes ring hollow in the shadows where I am.

Two Moons

You who rage about broken stars,

feel there are no dreams for you to fight,

There are 2 moons in my world tonight.

Just us

In the sky we dance gracefully

The waves make beautiful music for us

as we waltz between stars,

unseen, just us.

Its here

The silhouette of your feelings is rising in the air.

The shadows have surrendered now.

The happy darkness of your night is here.

She hurts

She hurts, she walks,

She’s lost, She stalls,

She stumbles, She’s brave,

She’s drunk, She smiles

Your blush

When you blush with that shy smile playing on your lips,

the flower hasnt been discovered yet

that could hold in comparison.

Maybe, it never shall.

They Named

They named the blossoms after her

so they could borrow the memory of her smile

& add fragrance to the flowers.

And they named the star after her

so they could borrow the sparkle of her eyes

to add to the bright spunkiness in the sky.
